Many of us know the verse 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, which reminds us that "our body is a temple" and we should "honor God with our bodies." Sadly, this verse is sometimes used to justify restrictive eating patterns or excessive exercise that can lead to harsh treatment of the body. As Colossians 2:20-23 warns, such practices can be too severe and don't truly address our desires or behaviors.

Treating your body this way often leads to guilt, shame, and legalism—none of which reflect God's best for us.

At Your Daily Bread Co, we’re dedicated to helping you heal your relationship with food, exercise, and your body through grace, gentleness, kindness, and compassion. Our approach invites more peace and joy into your life, drawing you closer to God.

Intuitive Eating Guidance

Jesus calls us to have a childlike faith and says that children are greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And how do children eat? They eat intuitively! We will help you get back in touch with your body's biological hunger & fullness cues, trusting God's design!

Body Neutrality and Acceptance

We will help you see yourself how God sees you and equip you to receive into your heart that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and trust 1 Samuel 16:7 when God says that He does not look at the outward appearance, but looks at the heart.

Mindful Movement

Exercise should be a source of joy, not punishment. 1 Timothy 4:8 says that physical training has some value, but Godliness has value in all things in this life and the one to come. We will help heal your relationship with exercise versus focusing solely on weight loss or burning calories.

Nutrition Education

We offer an approach to nutrition that is Biblically-based. We will help you navigate away from  dietary practices of the world and dispel common myths, so you can make Spirit-led choices that support your individual physical body and soul.

1 John 4:4 says, "Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world." The Holy Spirit dwelling inside you is our wisest counsel. We will equip you to learn more about the Holy Spirit to make Spirit-led decisions and grow in discernment.

Your Daily Bread Co Founder

The Lord has called me to deliver people from Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating and to speak Biblical truth into the health industry. With a background as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, backed by a Master's in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology from Columbia University, I have counseled individuals worldwide for 7+ years.

Having personally experienced the challenges of disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image struggles, gut health concerns, and chronic stress, I understand the journey to a healthier lifestyle, that can actually be sustained. And I learned that the journey can only be sustained through Jesus.
